I love my meal maker express.I have the extra large so that I can cook all of my lunch chicken at once and be done with it.The plates pop out easily to clean.My only problems with it are that it is difficult to keep the juices from getting down into the element compartment, which can make it difficult to clean.As long as you are on top of wiping that area every few times you cook, then you're good.Also, since we use it all of the time, the plate coating degrades after about a year.You can order new plates directly from Hamilton Beach.I've had a few other brands of indoor grill, but this one is the best.
