I bought this to replace a older natural gas summit I had to let go when I sold my home. The qquality of steeel in the older unit was in my opinion superior. However this unit has several improvements. The burner ignition system is greatly improved. The utensil hooks don't interfer with the door opening. The rotisserie spit and forks have on board storage. The sear burner really works. This uniit burns much hotter than the old but this may be due to the propane fuel. The cooking grates are 9.5mm diameter stainless steel rods. The new lighted control panel uses 3 "D" size batteries to light the controls. The grill also features stainless steel Flavorizer bars.
