First, I should point out that this grill requires assembly, and the assembly is not easy.In fact, I had to live with several screws missing since it was simply impossible to get them in.

It had problems: Upon heating up to the required temperature, it would beep until the lid was opened and food was placed on the grill.After a few months, it continued to beep even after food was placed on the grill.

Using an infrared device, as far as I can tell, the grill reached a temperature of about 450 degrees; far less than I would like.

Finally, after a year, it simply stopped working completely.I did leave it plugged into an outlet that had a plastic cover over it during heavy rain, but that should not have led to its death.

Overall, I would not recommend this product.
